Brew Master Academy is a dedicated coffee school in Colombo for beginners, working baristas and future café professionals. Our instructors bring industry experience into a classroom designed for action.

We teach the complete journey—from understanding the bean and dialling in espresso to milk technique, sensory skills and thoughtful customer service.

Chief Executive Officer

Nirodha Jayakody

Nirodha Jayakody is the Chief Executive Officer of Brew Master Academy and an experienced professional in coffee education, training and business management. He holds an MBA from Spain, a BBA from Finland and an HND from the United Kingdom. His professional coffee qualifications include SCA CSP Barista Professional, SCA CSP Sensory Professional and SCA CSP Roasting Professional certifications. He is also an Authorised Trainer of Espresso Academy, Italy, and ESC School Malaysia. Through his leadership, international qualifications and industry expertise, Nirodha is dedicated to maintaining high professional standards and providing internationally recognised, practical coffee education for students pursuing careers in the local and global hospitality industry.

Training and Development Manager

Gayan Rukmal

Gayan Rukmal is the Training and Development Manager at Brew Master Academy, where he plays a key role in developing professional barista skills and delivering industry-focused training programmes. He is an SCA CSP Roasting Professional, a Professional Certified Trainer at SLITAD, and an Authorised Trainer at ESC School Malaysia. His professional qualifications also include Barista Professional and Latte Art Professional certifications from ESC School Malaysia. With strong practical knowledge of coffee preparation, roasting and latte art, Gayan is committed to helping aspiring baristas develop the technical skills, confidence and professional standards required to succeed in the coffee and hospitality industry.
